Job Description

Sales associates are responsible for assisting customers in finding the products or services they need, as well as ensuring a seamless transaction process. They also handle returns, refunds, and resolving common customer complaints.

Key Accountabilities

The job duties listed include ensuring that merchandise is requested and received daily in the correct quantity from the warehouse and other shops, informing the supervisor of any short or excess received, acknowledging correct/short receipts or dispatches of merchandise in the section, ensuring merchandise is correctly tagged and barcoded, assisting management in identifying potential shoplifters, ensuring garments are security tagged and placed correctly, consistently supervising categories and being alert, contributing ideas to control pilferages, and reporting any unusual or suspicious activity to the shop manager in a retail setting.

People and Customers

• The job duty is to be available for the customer at all times.
• This involves establishing eye contact and greeting the customer.
• The sales associate should determine the customer's needs and assist them in making a purchase decision.
• Sales associates should mention new arrivals or styles to customers and make add-on sales.
• If the requested product is unavailable, sales associates should guide customers to alternative products.

Education- The job requirement is for individuals who have completed their high school education and obtained a diploma, or individuals who hold a university degree.

Language-The job requires mandatory proficiency in English and beginner to intermediate proficiency in Arabic.

Technology-The job requires basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
